Intensive Danish one-to-one for DTU Employees

Aim of the course

The aim of this intensive course is to quickly improve the participants’ ability to comfortably handle everyday conversations, both at work and in their private life.

Who is it for?

It is for all international employees who wish to improve their Danish language skills.

Teaching content

The course primarily focuses on spoken Danish and includes conversational and pronunciation practice to help participants speak fluently and with confidence. We select and provide textbooks and additional material.

Teaching plan

Before the course starts, we will assess your Danish language level at a free pre-course meeting in person or online. In preparation for this meeting, we will ask you to fill in our questionnaire for language instruction.

Duration of teaching sessions and schedule

The course consists of either 10 teaching sessions of 2 hours and 15 minutes or of 15 teaching sessions of 1 hour and 30 minutes. It’s up to you and your instructor to agree on a schedule.

Course cost

The course fee is DKK 16,000 excluding VAT, which includes books and course material.

Instructors

The course is taught by our staff of native Danish teachers. Whenever our instructor can speak your native language, it will allow for direct teaching.
