Intensive English in Groups at AAU

Aim

English for groups is for up to 8 AUU employees who wish to study English together. The aim of the course is to assist the group members with their specific needs in written and oral English.

Target group

Administrative staff and others who wish to improve their English language skills. The course will be tailored to the participants’ specific requirements and may include ongoing projects, relevant emails and other texts.

Placement test in English

To assess your level in English before the course starts, you will be given the opportunity to take the Oxford Online Placement Test.

Content

To decide the contents of the course, we will ask you to fill in our questionnaire and shortly after that arrange a pre-course meeting with you and the course instructor. The instructor will use the results from the test, the information from your questionnaires and from the meeting to tailor the final content to your needs.

Course certificate

Participants who have attended at least 80 per cent of the classes will receive a course certificate on completion of the course.

A local and native English language instructor from the staff of AIS Sprog.

Duration

20 hours divided into 10 classes of 2 hours.

Price

DKK 16,000. VAT not included. Textbooks and course materials are included in the price.
